a family rooted in faith, wild love, and a deep desire to live slow and live true.

this was the hardest thing we’ve ever done.
leaving behind convenience, comfort, and everything familiar—
for something slower, quieter… and completely unknown.
we didn’t come out here chasing ease.
we came chasing more.
more connection.
more intention.
more space to raise our kids with wonder in their eyes
and mud on their feet.
we traded city lights for starry skies.
sidewalks for dirt roads.
& the noise for something honest.
it hasn’t been easy and
i think that’s what we love most about it
the days are long.
the learning curve is steep.
the work never ends.
but somewhere in between the early mornings,
the calloused hands,
the laughter of barefoot kids running wild—
we found it.
a different kind of wealth.
rich in rhythm.
rich in time.
rich in community.
rich in dinners around a crowded table,
in animals that depend on us,
in moments that are constantly
making us pause and say,
“this is the good stuff.”
out here, we’ve grown roots.
in this land.
in each other.
in the life we’re building with our bare hands.
a life that holds us.
challenges us.
changes us.
a kind of beauty that sneaks up on you—
not loud or flashy,
but steady.
sacred.

and in the stillness of this place,
in the messy, ordinary magic of these long but ohhh so fleeting days,
we’ve started to become our favorite versions of ourselves.
